The Buckhorn Golf Course provides a traditional golfing experience in the beautiful hill country region of Texas.
The golf course has been meticulously routed amongst native stands of Live Oaks, using the undulating topography to create a varied and distinct collection of golf holes. A common characteristic of all the holes, and a fundamental principle of the design of the Buckhorn, is the creation of a fun, relaxing atmosphere to golf in. Lost ball occurrences have been minimized while multiple options of play on each hole have been maximized. The golfer is given a lot of room to play golf, but must still find the best angles of play on each hole to score well.
The golf course is not long by current standards, but the angles of the greens and the dynamic nature of the contours within each green will require golfers to play good shots in order to score well. Deceptive in it's challenge, the Buckhorn is very straightforward in the fun, pure golf atmosphere it creates for all types of players.
